History

How we got here

Housing & Tax Consultants, LLC is a second generation family owned and operated company. It was formed in 2004 to provide consulting services to Owners, Developers and Managers of multi-family low-income housing projects operated through the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Housing Service(RD). These programs are considered some of the most successful government/private ventures. They’re are designed to aid low-income individuals with housing assistance. While the rents for the properties are Government financed. They are owned and operated by individuals in the private sector. This unique ownership structure allows individuals with passive/rental income to deduct the depreciation generated through the partnerships.

We quickly realized it made sense to provide accounting services to these businesses and individuals. Fast forward almost 20 years and we now assist more than 400 clients. However, HTC continues to serve its customers on a one-on-one basis. While we continue to expand we will never lose track of our humble beginnings.

Jordan Asher

CEO/CFO

Jordan is the CEO/CFO and senior managing member of Housing & Tax Consultants, LLC. Jordan is a senior executive with responsibility for the financial affairs of the company. She began performing secretarial functions for the company in 2008 and has since worked her way up. Jordan embodies the “Great American success story” of working your way up from the mail room. The company has sustained tremendous growth since her insertion into upper-management

Corey Asher

COO

Corey is the day-to-day most senior managing member of Housing & Tax Consultants, LLC. He came on board in 2014 as an analyst. Corey was appointed COO in 2016. He responsible for new client acquisitions and investor relations. The company continues to thrive under Corey’s leadership and is trending on a path of unprecedented growth and leadership in the industry.

Brian Harbour

Acquisitions and Dispositions Director

Brian has a diverse background in sales and management. As the A & D Director, he is detailed, highly organized, and energetic. He has a significant footprint in the Tulsa metro area. Brian puts customer service above all else. He looks forward to working with you and your family.

Darwin Brewer

Chief Technological Officer & Sales

Darwin Brewer is the Chief Technological Officer for Housing & Tax Consultants. He oversees all technological needs spanning the gamut of an animated GIF to building and implementing state of the art, high end servers, to complex network designs. HTC believes it’s important to stay on the forefront of technology in the 21st Century and beyond. Darwin primarily focuses on finding new innovations for HTC. He is avaliable for you 24/7.
